The rice off-takers, Mafa Rice and Alhansad, have strengthened their partnership with smallholder farmers in Kano State during the 1st Joint Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN)/International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Supervision Mission Workshop. During this workshop, both companies emphasized their commitment to fostering productive collaboration with farmers, aiming to enhance rice production and support the agricultural sector in the region. This partnership highlights the dedication of Mafa Rice and Alhansad to not only secure a reliable supply chain but also empower local farmers by providing them with resources, knowledge, and market access.
